Sermon on the Mount

One of Jesus’ most famous teachings is known as the Sermon on the Mount. He gave this sermon on a mountainside near Capernaum in Galilee. In this sermon, he spoke about love, forgiveness, and treating others as you would like to be treated.

Judea

In addition to traveling throughout Galilee, Jesus also traveled to Judea. He visited Jerusalem several times during his ministry, including for Passover when he drove out moneychangers from the temple.

Death and Resurrection

Jesus’ final journey was to Jerusalem where he was arrested and tried before being sentenced to death by crucifixion. After three days in the tomb, he rose from the dead and appeared to his disciples before ascending into heaven.
